 Don't know what I'm doing

I have been told to keep walking

I have no clue to where i'm going

They tell me to just keep breathing

Breathing hurts, once in a while

It's more; with feeling, I'm crushed inside

Thinking helps me calm my heart

but feeling makes my mind go blank

Sharing is caring I was told

Yet too much sharing has been the cost

She didn't stop until she fainted

She didn't mind what's up or down

All she knew was she had to laugh

She had to talk to everyone

She had to feed every mouth

She had to comfort the tired or the sad

She never really wanted much

all she wished for was, LOVE

but love isn't what most people heed

They are too selfish to seek it.

She was thinking life is easy,
yet most of her days
she barely has money
She gives them all to everybody.

What's left of her, I couldn't carry
It weighs heavy, and makes me worry
She promised me heaven
and all its GLORY.

I'm her little sister and she didn't see me,
she was so busy listening to everybody.
She was too near and yet too far.
I envy all her friends who were just nearby.

Journals

I didn’t realise there are so many types of journals you can these days. I guess I didn’t spend so much time in this kind of place. I am always with my little boy, and this sort of place bores him.  I was entertained while looking at these. I told myself, writing can always be fun. Spring is like a new day, a new year. Perhaps writing a new page on a new journal might do me good.   I have been writing in a notebook since January. And I noticed my penmanship got better! How many of us writes with a computer or a smart phone or a tablet.  Back to basics... writing on a journal with an actual pen with ink can be a good way for some people. It worked for me. Perhaps because I stopped and had plenty of time for myself.  My son actually learned from it as well. He started writing me more notes and cards on a daily basis.
