Those Busy Hands and More...

I spent most of my day doing house chores. This is a long day for me because my son goes to an after school club every Thursday. I was able to read 2 chapters from a book, did laundry, visit the park, dropped by the pharmacy and my favourite bit was that I managed to visit the nearest garden centre. I saw their website saying they have plants on sale. I got these succulents in one little pot, and for me it’s not so cheap. I looked at it carefully and realised I can divide them into different plants. I don’t even know the exact name of this plant but I like them. They look like sea corals but green!  With some moss growing on the sides of the pond, dried twigs and some random finds in the garden, I was able to transform them into cute little green things that can enlighten some gloomy corners at home.  It was a happy day! 

He is my only son and I am so blessed to have one! He teaches many different things everyday... he teaches me to LOVE more than I thought I could! 

Yellow is Spring!  Yellow is a happy colour! Yellow is love! Yellow is cool! Yellow is a promise! Yellow is a new beginning! Yellow, my new favourite colour! Oh my yellow mellow! 

When you open eyes in the morning, you start plank g your day (that’s how I am). It starts with looking outside and checking the weather. If it is raining... I used to say: “Oh crap, it’s not a cheerful day again!” It’s 2019 and I’m way past my 40’s! I’m counting the days that I will reach the golden birthday... so I changed my mindset. Now I say: “It’s raining! Plants and trees will be happier and greener! It’s time to take my umbrella and put on my wellies!”  If that’s maturity or positivity or just being vain (because I have wellies, LOL) the important thing is I look forward to any day, either sunny or rainy, be it gloomy or bright, be it a hot day or cold... any day is a blessing! 

It’s a new day but gloomy... Don’t let the weather outside  dictate your destiny, Don’t let anyone darken your days Let everything inside you shine  They can compensate your worries! What’s inside is what matters most... Your life is not the only one that matters Your world is not everyone’s, You can be everyone’s world Keep in mind to be your BEST Tomorrow, it could be a bright day so keep walking until you feel the warmth  and find the great spot  for your long awaited nap! 

  Thankful and grateful... Forever hopeful... Every morning brings JOY Every green grass, like home! 

I walked and had fun I had fun watching the sun The sun was really warm It made me feel the warm hug of my Mum! 

I didn’t realise there are so many types of journals you can these days. I guess I didn’t spend so much time in this kind of place. I am always with my little boy, and this sort of place bores him.  I was entertained while looking at these. I told myself, writing can always be fun. Spring is like a new day, a new year. Perhaps writing a new page on a new journal might do me good.   I have been writing in a notebook since January. And I noticed my penmanship got better! How many of us writes with a computer or a smart phone or a tablet.  Back to basics... writing on a journal with an actual pen with ink can be a good way for some people. It worked for me. Perhaps because I stopped and had plenty of time for myself.  My son actually learned from it as well. He started writing me more notes and cards on a daily basis. 

It is the season of spring... gardens are blooming, hope is up and running, weather is more caring, more gentle wind more birds singing... Oh the beauty of Spring!

We prepare for it... spiritually.  We decorate our home... We welcome the new life, the new hope it brings.  It’s just like Christmas but more sorrowful at the beginning...  It gives your life more meaning,  It gives your life new purpose, to love yourself just like you love others, to love others just like HE loves all of us, In dying HE gives... in rising, he showed us  what LOVE is.  It’s all about LOVE! 

New beginning... it can be exciting!
